Beginning to Paint Bayou Buddies

Here is the frog part of the Bayou Buddies Logo. Finally made time to paint one part of the logo for their worship area. I hope to have the other one done before the end of May and so the next time you guys see this it'll be with a picture of it all installed in the worship area. So much fun. Wish I could do this kind of thing all day long every day.

Eyes are done... sort of anyway. Wanted to get those done before starting on the green.
Here's the logo I created and what I'm working from for the cutout... now I've got to do the alligator.

Sculpture: Man's Face and a Hand

I've been watching a lot of Ace of Clay on Youtube recently and really wanted to try some of his techniques but I wasn't at home that day.  Dad has some super soft stanky clay that he uses to work out some of his carvings and so I got into that this week. Maybe it's time to pull out my sculpture stuff again. Really do miss it - I enjoy that more than I do writing or drawing or... probably even eating LOL  Anyway... this clay was really soft stuff and it was hard to keep from smashing it or doing any real detail work - I mean, look at those ears HA!

Freelance Design: Selena Sews

Proofs with the two I liked most at the top... This is the one she chose - definitely my favorite - although she chose the one with the sewing machine for a larger sign she was going to do cut vinyl for. I'm looking forward to seeing these in action. A talented friend asked me to help her with some designs for craft bag tags. If you're interested in seeing some of her side-hustle goods, check out her facebook page .
