Sermon titles and matching bulletin covers are a weekly task that can often be a fun challenge. That was definitely the case this week. I typically start with the layout that I have to print on the bulletin then adapt the layout to the SD slide format. These are a few from this week's attempts.
Last week, pastor couldn't bring himself to use what I'd created on screen since it reminded him too much of "Wilson" - the volleyball with the bloody hand print on it from that Cast Away movie. I get it - I wouldn't be able to preach if I was distracted by something like that. Anyway, I'm offering those files for free - hate for that work to be for naught when I actually created it almost from scratch. Hand print is from here.
See the main SD slide below. It was fun to create since it was something new for me, having not depicted blood very often. It printed on the bulletin really well. I am proud of it. Font choices could've been better, but I didn't have much time to pull everything together and just used a font I thought was "good enough."
Here's a zip folder with the layered files and such in it.
Ok - so this is the "get the juices flowing" one. Pastor's tag line made me think of this funny little guy. Added the mites falling from his hand and a few shadows and voila - instant silliness. |
This was the second rendition including one of my favorite fonts. The picture is from here. |
