Crochet Adventure: Scarf for a Friend

I'm typically in search of people who like to wear handmade items, especially crochet and knitted items. This is a project I did recently for one of those stylish people.

These are for a person who always makes me smile. She said her favorite colors are blue and green so I went to Walmart and found some pretty yarn. Had to use a tiny crochet hook since the gauge of the yarn was tiny, but the final pieces turned out great. I hope she loves them even half as much as I enjoyed making them for her.
Here's a link to the pattern I used for the "neck warmer" one pictured here with the buttons and the pendant.

Sculpture: Man's Face and a Hand

I've been watching a lot of Ace of Clay on Youtube recently and really wanted to try some of his techniques but I wasn't at home that day.  Dad has some super soft stanky clay that he uses to work out some of his carvings and so I got into that this week. Maybe it's time to pull out my sculpture stuff again. Really do miss it - I enjoy that more than I do writing or drawing or... probably even eating LOL  Anyway... this clay was really soft stuff and it was hard to keep from smashing it or doing any real detail work - I mean, look at those ears HA!
