Of Photography and Plans


A few weeks ago I spent the evening with one of my sisters. She brought over her fancy camera and gave me a few photography lessons. I took a lot of photos, but if we’re talking “good” photos… I think I may have managed to get one, possibly two good shots.

This is it. I think it’s the best composition, the best contrast and clarity of focus of all that I did that night… yeah, didn’t have many successes, but I did have a lot of fun.

I did a rough digital painting of the glass too. Here it is.

Freelance Design: Selena Sews

Proofs with the two I liked most at the top... This is the one she chose - definitely my favorite - although she chose the one with the sewing machine for a larger sign she was going to do cut vinyl for. Writing: Lena - Chapter 2

    So - thought I'd post the second chapter of Lena's story too. Let me know if you're enjoying it?  Could possibly release the first installment of this 2 novella story before the end of May. With this story, I feel like I'm flopping around outside of my comfort zone and although it's uncomfortable, I'm assuming these are 'good' growing pains especially since the gospel is a bit more central than in the last story I put out there.   .2. Picked Up Just before sunrise, clouds lumbered off to the northwest. I shivered in my damp clothing and stepped onto the glistening onyx ribbon of road to consider my options: one, follow it to civilization and risk running into Ted or his crew, or two, risk a slow death by turning from the road into the dehydrating desert.
